Leek
It may not look like much at first – but give it time, and its slender, seed-tipped stems will arrive. This green’s mild, onion-like flavour has a nice hint of wild garlic and cucumber.
Seed hulls will cling to the stem all the way which are edible. They grow in a bent like fashion.
